I don't see the correct assets in the wallet interface

If an asset is very new, our RPC provider may not be able to retrieve it. Please check back later. Alternatively, you may have the incorrect wallet connected via Phantom.

To ensure the correct wallet is connected:

  1. Go to your Phantom mobile app

  2. Set the correct wallet as the active wallet (e.g. have the wallet open in the app)

  3. Fully close the Phantom app (e.g. swipe up to get the app multitasking view and then swipe it away to force-close it)

  4. Go to Telegram and open your DM with @dialectbot. Open the Wallet Interface.

  5. When Phantom opens and prompts you to accept the wallet connection, accept it.

When I try to complete a transaction, Phantom doesn't show an approval modal

Dialect's deeplinking to Phantom is still in Beta. While perfectly safe to use, this means that at times Phantom may not register that the user has made a request. The reliability of this connection will significantly increase in the next few versions of Phantom. This unreliability does not impact the safety or security of the connection, it just sometimes makes it more inconvenient for you as the user.

There are two possible reasons for this:

Reason 1: Your wallet active in Dialect Operator and your wallet active in Phantom are different

To resolve this, open Phantom and confirm the wallet you see and the wallet you are using in Dialect Operator are the same wallet. If they are not, open the correct wallet inside your Phantom app, then fully close Phantom and try the transaction again.

Reason 2: Phantom has timed out, dropping the deeplinking connection between your wallet and the apps on your phone.

To resolve this, follow the steps described in the above section: "I don't see the correct assets in the wallet interface" and then try the transaction again.

When I try to say {phrase} Dialect Operator doesn't understand what I want to do

Dialect Operator can process most phrases and requests, but sometimes it is unable to understand what you're trying to ask for. In these cases, you can use (1) the wallet graphical interface (accessed by the "Dialect" button in the bottom left of your DM with @dialectbot, or (2) slash-commands (/buy, /sell, /info, etc.) to more clearly state your intention.

Dialect Operator can only accept requests in English. You cannot change the language at this time.
