Dialect Operator is a multimodal interface for interacting with your Phantom wallet and the Solana blockchain.

We believe strongly in the value of safety and self-custody, and built Operator from the ground up with safety in mind.

We will never have access to your private keys. Your private keys remain safely in Phantom.

Dialect Operator serves as a front-end and conversational client for you to interact with your Phantom wallet and with Solana blockchain dApps. Dialect Operator can build transactions and prepare them to be executed, but, similar to a web app, it must send that transaction to Phantom and you as the user must manually sign the transaction from inside your Phantom app for it to be executed.

Connecting your Phantom wallet to Dialect allows Dialect to display the information about your wallet's contents. It also allows Dialect to send transactions to Phantom for you to accept. This connection flow is required based on Phantom's deeplinking architecture.

Dialect Operator sends Phantom transaction instructions via deeplinks, which Phantom then presents to you as the user to execute from safely within the Phantom app.

In this way, you can think about connecting a wallet to Dialect Operator as similar to connecting your Phantom wallet to a web app such as Tensor or Jupiter.

Transactions can never be executed inside Dialect Operator's Telegram environment directly because we do not have access to your private keys — you must hop into the Phantom app to sign.

Our architecture keeps your private keys safely in your wallet, where they belong.

Please be vigilant when interacting with any crypto products, dApps, and social media accounts. Dialect will never ask you for your private key, or require that you import your private key to Operator. Be sure to take the time to double-check transactions before signing them to confirm that the action is what you intend.
