Dialect takes ZERO fees on transactions. We DO NOT have a fee for any transactions or actions taken using Dialect.
Other protocols that you interact with via Dialect (such as liquidity providers) may charge protocol fees.
Dialect routes all transactions through Jupiter when possible, and directly to liquidity pools when it is not.
Transactions routed through Jupiter are routed to find the best price, which takes into account any fee charged by the liquidity provider.
The price you see on Dialect will be the same as it would be if you were to trade the token directly at the jup.ag website. These liquidity providers (Orca, Raydium, Meteora, etc.) may charge fees. Those fees are added to the swap price you see in the Dialect app. Dialect does not add any additional fees on top of the fees charged by these protocols.
In cases where Dialect cannot route a transaction directly to Jupiter, we route the transaction to Raydium. Raydium has a per-pool fee structure that applies to any transactions completed using Raydium. Dialect does not add any additional fees.
You may also pay a small amount (approximately .002 SOL) the first time you complete a transaction with a new token. This small charge covers the rent on the Solana blockchain to create a token account for that new token in your wallet. This happens automatically when buying new tokens on Solana and Dialect has no control over this. Dialect does not receive any of this fee, and if you no longer wish to interact with that token, you can reclaim that rent using a service that closes token accounts.
